MISSION STATEMENT The Peace Officers' Wives Clubs Affiliated (POWCA) is committed to enhancing the positive image of law enforcement, promoting the education of law enforcement issues, and supporting the law enforcement family. We will cultivate relationships between families of peace officers within our own departments, statewide, across the nation. About POWCA Peace Officers’ Wives Clubs Affiliated (POWCA), is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization providing support, education and resources to law enforcement families and their communities. POWCA is about mastering our present and enhancing our future. Our present issues are resolved by providing classes to our members that enrich their everyday family lives while providing the necessary knowledge to understand our husbands’ careers. When we married into law enforcement many of us did not realize that Police work is not just a job, it’s a way of life. POWCA’s classes focus on our unique, yet rewarding lifestyle. Our future is our children who will grow from a foundation of integrity and honor. Ennobled by an upbringing, based on respect for law and duty, our children will succeed where many others will get lost in a murky world confused by a lack of values. POWCA supports our children on their triumphant path through an annual college scholarship fund. POWCA has worked on many projects in its over 40 year history. Each has been focused either on promoting a positive image of law enforcement or supporting the needs of law enforcement families. POWCA holds a conference once each year. In addition to conducting POWCA business, this conference offers members educational workshops, networking opportunities and good old-fashioned fun. Contact Us
